Valerie Onor of Valerie Onor Interior Design
My dear friend and colleague Valerie Onor was recently featured in the pages of the February issue of Romantic Homes magazine. Valerie's work always brings a smile to my face. She creates the most feminine and romantic spaces, so perfectly layered and adorned. I hope everyone will pick-up the issue and enjoy reading her story and perusing the photographs of her exceptional design prowess.
Valerie is a master with details!
BRAVO VALERIE!!!

The 2009 Mansions & Millionaires Designer Showcase for the benefit of the Mentoring Partnership of Long Island recently ended it 6 week run. Attendance at the event was fantastic and much money was raised for the charity. NEWSDAY and HOUSE magazine featured the Showcase prominently.
I commend the work of all the designers as everyone's designs where not only creative but awe inspiring.
Featured are photos of my space, "The Study".The "Study" at La Selva is at first glimpse a calm tailored traditional space. Awash with rich colors, patterns, and tactile pleasures. "Chopped Dill" painted walls are accented with warm saffron, copper, cognac and mushroom tones.Designed to do triple duty as a study, lounge and media room; the space is precise but layered, clean yet eclectic, based in history and more importantly; very today. Traditional surroundings are given new life with the introduction of bold contemporary artwork and a media system offering over 450 DVD's and 4950 CD's and electronic controls that adds a new dimension in home entertainment with wireless light and shade control at the press of a button.
